Spurgeon Heritage Church
We are a quite small sovereign grace Baptist church in Holland, MI. We hold to [but do not require formal subscription] the London Baptist Confession of 1689, which is informed by the earlier London Baptist Confessions. We honor and hold the other historic Confessions of faith. We are Calvinistic in doctrine and Baptist in polity and practice.
The current Pastor has experienced a series of very serious health issues that make it necessary for him to retire from active ministry.
Any prospective pastor would almost certainly have to be bi-vocational, since our church is unable to support – at this moment – a full-time salaried pastor. Alternatively, we would be pleased if we could even just locate men in our area that might minister the Gospel to our congregation on Sundays on a fee basis. Though not ideal, it would be acceptable if we are unable to locate a suitable bi-vocational pastor.
