Dr. Samuel has served the Lord in various capacities as Church Planter, Pastor, Administrator, and Professor in Christian Organizations since 2001. After his completion of the Doctor of Divinity in Puritan Studies program, he has been greatly influenced to continue as a devoted student of the Puritans. He has a great burden for Reformed education with the Puritan vision to reach out to the godly people around the world. Dr. Samuel is the founder of Puritan Reformed Ministries, India, currently serves as President of Puritan Reformed Biblical Seminary, and is actively engaged in planting Puritan Reformed Churches in India.
Dr. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Divinity, Master of Divinity, and Master of Theology from Grace Baptist Theological Seminary, a Doctor of Divinity in Puritan Studies from The North American Reformed Seminary, and a Doctor of Theology in Reformed Theological Thought (jure dignitatis), also from The North American Reformed Seminary.
Though originally ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America, Pastor Win serves in a historic German Reformed congregation - St. John's (Burry's) United Evangelical Church - that dates back to 1835. Win has authored over a dozen books on scripture and theology and has spoken in Pastor’s conferences in Moscow, Russia and Nairobi, Kenya as well as teaching in a mission seminary in Ukraine. His heart, though, is that of a pastor. Win’s conviction is that Pastors should be capable theologians and apologists as well as clear communicators of the Word of God, equipping the body of Christ to do the same. Due to his conviction that a congregation ought to be trained to handle the Word, he also offers seminary-level classes to his congregation in a Sunday evening format called, TOPIX.
Rev. Groseclose holds an Associates of Arts in Secondary Education, a Bachelor of Science in English, and a
Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary.
John H. McDonald
Director of the Seminary
A direct descendant of Scots-Presbyterian church planters, John began his ministry labors in 1996 in the same Presbyterian church his forefathers established in 1841. During his studies at Belhaven College, John was privileged to study under Dr. Wynn Kenyon (considered to be John Gerstner's left hand man as R.C. Sproul was considered his right) where he developed a deep appreciation and passion for apologetics. Graduating from Belhaven, John was honored to teach at Chamberlain-Hunt Military Academy, successor of Oakland College and the last remaining Presbyterian military academy in the United States. John went on to serve in ministry at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Fort Walton Beach, FL and at Presbyterian Church of the Lakes in Orlando, FL. John is currently a member of the Presbyterian Church in America.
Before answering the call to serve as Director, John was the registrar of the seminary. John believes that the mission and vision of TNARS is one of the most honorable and remarkable educational endeavors attempted by the Reformed Community.
Dr. McDonald holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Belhaven College (summa cum laude), a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Whitefield Theological Seminary (summa cum laude), and a Doctor of Theology in Puritan Studies (doctor designatus) from The North American Reformed Seminary.
