The North American Reformed Seminary (TNARS) Administration has announced that Chris Rollwitz has accepted the call to serve as the seminary’s second president. He was appointed to this role on April 4, 2013. TNARS started as an independent seminary in January of 2008, and Rollwitz has been involved with us since June of 2009. It is with great pleasure that we welcome him in this new role with the seminary.

Rollwitz has a Bachelor of Science in Leadership from the College of Biblical Studies, a Master of Science in Organization and Management from Capella University, and is currently working toward his Ph.D. from Louisiana Baptist University.

With over ten years of experience teaching, including being an Adjunct Professor for both Franklin University and the College of Biblical Studies, we are sure that Rollwitz will continue to move TNARS in the direction of offering great education at no cost.

We are a quite small sovereign grace Baptist church in Holland, MI. We hold to [but do not require formal subscription] the London Baptist Confession of 1689, which is informed by the earlier London Baptist Confessions. We honor and hold the other historic Confessions of faith. We are Calvinistic in doctrine and Baptist in polity and practice.

The current Pastor has experienced a series of very serious health issues that make it necessary for him to retire from active ministry.

Any prospective pastor would almost certainly have to be bi-vocational, since our church is unable to support – at this moment – a full-time salaried pastor. Alternatively, we would be pleased if we could even just locate men in our area that might minister the Gospel to our congregation on Sundays on a fee basis. Though not ideal, it would be acceptable if we are unable to locate a suitable bi-vocational pastor.

If you are interested in helping this church meet its pastoral needs please contact:

At TNARS we are always looking for resources which will help both our students and the church at large. We heartily recommend Bible Translation Magazine, whose main purpose is to promote biblical literacy coupled with defending the integrity of the Bible as God’s inspired and inerrant word.

Mentors and advanced students: we are looking also for people who can support the work of Bible Translation Magazine in a more direct sense, including writing. The Magazine is expanding operations to become a major resource for the church in general, in order to make godly scholarship on the Bible accessible and understandable for the layperson. If you would like to be involved, contact either Larry Bray or Barry Hofstetter for more information.
